For starters, K. Gee’s offers oysters on the half shell, boiled seafood (in season), and for a twist, tasso beignets. Gee’s gumbo and an assortment of Salads round out the great selection of appetizers.
The entrees range from a selection of po-boys, to fried seafood platters, to specialties such as the baked Katfish, and Creole Etouffee’s. One of K. Gee’s signature dishes is the eggplant, stuffed with shrimp and crabmeat. If you have tried it, then you love it.
Always save room for K. Gee’s Signature Homemade Bread Pudding. You’ll be sorry if you don’t. You can always get it to go!
K. Gee’s is located in Mandeville at 2534 Florida Street. They are open Mon through Thurs, 11am – 8pm, Fri & Sat, 11am – 9pm. They are closed on Sundays.
